Admin portal login

To administrate the server and adjust the configuration, use the administration area (admin portal) of the webPDF server.

You can reach the administration portal by accessing the page directly via your browser at

http://PORTAL_URL/webPDF/admin/

caution

If you want to use your local server, replace the host name (and the protocol and port if applicable) with the IP address or the host name of the machine on which webPDF is installed. Make sure to keep the sub-path “/webPDF/admin” (case-sensitive) in the URL.

Please enter the credentials of a user with administrative rights (group assignment admin) and log in to the administration area.

tip

Log in as an administrator with the admin default username and the admin default password.

If you are already logged in in the front-end portal with a user from the admin group, click on the “Administration” button.

After setting up the webPDF server, be sure to change the default credentials!

Administration area

In this area you will find all possibilities to configure the portal and the webPDF server. To use this area, you need a user with the group assignment admin. If you are already logged in to the portal with a user of this group, his login will be taken over.

The functions of the administration area can be controlled via the

  • Toolbar or
  • Sidebar.

Administration functions

You can use the Toolbar to access all administration area functions, which are subdivided into the following three tabs:

  • Server - Services related to the server and its settings.
  • Portal - Services related to the portal and its settings.
  • Cluster - Services related to the cluster configuration

In the left part of the sidebar you will find, among other things, the configuration of the web services.

The sidebar entry Cluster information is only available if the server is part of a cluster.
