Linux
The documentation for installing webPDF under Linux can be found online at https://packages.softvision.de on the package distribution home page.
webPDF is provided as a package for the package managers apt or dpkg and rpm. (yum, zypper, dnf) via our repository.
We strongly recommend using a package manager on Linux to install webPDF. Manual installation of the package is not recommended.
Uninstall
To uninstall webPDF on Linux, please use the package manager that you originally used to install the DEB or RPM package.
Supported Linux distributions and versions
You can find the list of supported Linux distributions on the package distribution home page https://packages.softvision.de. There you will also find the list of supported Linux distributions for the various webPDF versions.
To install webPDF, you will need either a root user or a user with sudo permissions (the sudo Linux program must be installed).
