Leave cluster
A node, regardless of whether it is a member or coordinator, can leave a cluster.
Before you trigger a node to leave the cluster, please read the following notes.
This is triggered in the Admin Portal in the toolbar via Cluster and Leave.
Depending on the role of the node, a slightly adapted dialog appears, which asks again for security reasons.
Coordinator is to leave the cluster:

Member is to leave the cluster:

A member node can easily leave the cluster and rejoin it later if necessary. This only requires the cluster data that was defined during Setup.
If the member has left the cluster, it no longer has the cluster data after the restart and runs independently again with its own configuration.
When a coordinator leaves the cluster, this is an irreversible operation!
If the coordinator leaves the cluster, it loses its configuration and thus the configuration for the cluster. It can then no longer join the cluster.
Even if you try to use the same data for the cluster again, the old cluster will not be restored. The cluster uses an encryption key that can no longer be restored.
**If the coordinator leaves a cluster, this terminates the cluster.
The cluster continues to run, but no further nodes can join without a coordinator. The remaining nodes continue to run, but cannot rejoin the cluster after a restart. The cluster is permanently deleted when the last node leaves the cluster.
