Office version
When using the webPDF Office Bridge, the following requirements for the Office version used must be observed:
Office 2016 or later
Use at least an Office 2016 or more recent version.
Do not use Office 365
Since webPDF is usually run as a Windows service, Office 365 cannot be used. In any case, a local Office installation (Professional/Enterprise) is required, which has been installed and activated locally as a classic Office package (usually via a license key). An Office 365 version - activated via an online account - does not work with webPDF. To find out which version you are using, you can look, for example, in Word under File -> Account. The name displayed there must be “Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019” (as shown in the screenshot below). It must not be “Microsoft 365 Apps...”.

64bit version
Since webPDF is only available as a 64bit version on Windows, a 64bit Office version must also be used. You can get the information for the installed Office version e.g., in Word 2016 under File -> Account and there with the button About Word. The version and architecture of Word or Office is then displayed in the dialog.
